The AC Current Sensor Assistant has been updated: it no longer reports PV power at night. To update, see our guide on Updating an Assistant. During the first 24 hours, you might still see PV power at night. During these hours, the algorithm is calibrating. After the first 24 hours, calibration is finished and those currents at night are filtered out.
Note that it will need to recalibrate after power cycling the Multi later on.
For those interested, the power shown was the result of the X capacitors that are present in all PV Inverters. These cause a reactive current, and together with the low cost measurement type we use (current instead of power), this resulted in the power shown at night.
As a side note, on our latest pricelist you can already see the Wireless AC Sensors. These are an alternative to the AC Current Sensor. It consists of a gateway, that connects to the Color Control GX via Ethernet. And to that gateway you can connect one or more single phase max 25A wireless sensors. These sensors and the gateway communicate via DECT. All this will be supported in the next Color Control GX version, which I expect to be available in 4 to 6 weeks.
