Hot on the heels of the significant firmware release v1.16, firmware v1.17 was made available right before Christmas.
What’s new in Firmware v1.17?
v1.17 mainly adds and updates language translations, along with a few small fixes.
Some of the languages available
Note that the Dutch translation unfortunately wasn’t finished in time to make it into v1.17. The analogy goes something like the painter that never paints his own house. There will be a new release that includes the Dutch translation soon.
The list of updated and added languages is:
- English
- Dutch (not yet up to date)

- Arabic
Other changes include:
- Bugfix in the kWh calculation for the Solar yield tab
- Hub Data: fix the DC current / power sign without a battery monitor.
- Fixed several BMV/battery related ModbusTCP parameters: battery temperature, deepest discharge, last discharge, average discharge and total ah drawn.
- The VE.Bus alarms now default to generate a notification on a real alarm, such as a shutdown in low battery or overload) only. Instead of already on warnings.
