Victron installer Stéphane Bulard, who is located in the south of France, recently attended Foire Bio de Couiza. This is an organic fair or green gathering. The majority of Stéphane’s visitors are those whose main interest is in the off-grid energy market.
To demonstrate autonomous photovoltaics and to be able to discuss the options with potential clients, Stéphane has built a solar trailer, hooked up to a set of Victron Gel batteries along with a Victron MultiPlus, a Victron MPPT 150/70, a BMV-700 and a Color Control GX to demonstrate energy flow.

Bespoke advice and hands on experience
Before advising anyone on what is best for their off-grid home or application, Stéphane first carries out an energy audit, taking into account the client’s actual needs. From this he is able to design a tailor-made solution, advise on the likely energy cost savings that a family may gain over time to produce and store only the necessary energy required for their installation. He sees little point in over specifying a system with unnecessary or superfluous costs. Along with this he also advises on heating regulation and housing insulation improvements.
By using his solar trailer and associated Victron equipment Stéphane is able to clearly demonstrate how his installations work and of course provide a hands on experience to his potential customers. This mobile solar trailer unit is a great talking point at such fairs and naturally we are delighted Stéphane Bulard has chosen Victron Energy products for this. We wish you many further orders Stéphane!
