VRM on your smartwatch is now even better

Monitor tank levels, control relays, and manage your generator directly from your wrist

In November, we introduced the VRM app for smartwatches, compatible with Garmin, Apple, and Google OS watches. This gave our users a new way to monitor and manage their Victron system on the go, whether checking system overviews, viewing temperature readings, or managing EV charging easily from their smartwatch.

The response has been very positive, with users sharing stories of how the VRM smartwatch app has made their lives easier. Building on this feedback, we are excited to introduce the latest version with new features that give you even more control from your smartwatch:

1. Tank Levels

Monitor your fresh water, black/gray water, fuel, and LPG tanks directly from your smartwatch.

2. Relay Controls

If your system includes relays, you can now turn them on or off with a quick tap and slide on your watch.

3. Generator Controls

Similarly, you can now start or stop your generator directly from your watch.

4. VRM information on your watch face

Monitoring your system is now even easier with the option to add VRM data directly to your watch face as a complication. This allows you to see key system information at a glance, without needing to open the app.

VRM on the go

Having these features on your watch is especially useful when used together. Checking tank levels for the generator or diesel heater and switching them on or off in seconds makes life on the move much easier for some of us.

How these features are used depends on individual needs. For some, it’s about keeping an eye on solar performance, while others may find them useful for simplifying their daily routines.

If you’re heading out for a ski tour and leaving your dog in your campervan, for example, it’s reassuring to be able to check the temperature quickly without having to stop each time. If needed, you can then turn the diesel heater on or off via the relay, without taking out your phone. Sometimes small improvements can make a big difference.

We hope you enjoy the new features and look forward to hearing about your experiences and feedback.
