The Freedom Lite range of Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries from Freedom Won (www.freedomwon.co.za) is compatible with all 48V Multis and Quattros and also the 48V Blue Solar Ve.CAN and Ve.Direct Solar chargers.

The control output from the Freedom Lite battery has two options applicable to Victron equipment, hard wired potential free contacts, and CAN Bus.

The potential free contacts are used to enable and disable the inverter discharge and the charger independently in the same fashion as the Lynx Ion BMS. The Auxiliary Inputs are used on the Multi's and Quattro's and the remote enable is used on the Blue Solar models.

It is also possible to connect the CAN Bus output from the Freedom Lite into a Color Control GX Ve.CAN port. This enables the battery to transmit the SoC and enable/disable commands to the Inverter and MPPT's via CAN Bus.
