Always have all the latest Victron Energy firmware and software at your disposal! Even when on site and doing an installation, where no internet connection is available.

The 'Victron Software' Google Group is used to have its members add the Victron_Software folder to their Google Drive. It contains the latest firmware files, and change logs, for all updateable Victron products.

After receiving the invitation email, press 'Accept this invitation'. It will take you to this page:

Or if you have not received an invitation email, go to the group, and Apply for a membership.

Open this link in your browser: https://accounts.google.com/SignUp. It will take you to this page:

Note: if you do not want to end up with an extra email box, click the link 'I prefer to use my current email address'. Make sure to use the same email address as that which you received the invitation from. If you have another email address, which is already a Google Account, subscribe to the group using that email address here: https://groups.google.com/d/forum/victronsoftware.

Otherwise, follow the instructions to create the Google Account.

Go to https://groups.google.com/d/forum/victronsoftware, and look for the message called 'Victron Software - invitation to view':

Open that post and the link in it, and then click 'Add to drive' at the top left:

Now, open your Google drive: https://drive.google.com. You have now access to all the latest firmware files and their change logs. But that is not all, the next steps install the Google Drive sync tool on your computer, which will make sure you always carry the latest files with you.

Go to the download page of Google Drive, and follow the instructions. After setting up the Google Drive software on your computer, you'll see this icon on the right hand side at the bottom of your screen:

Click it and then select 'Open Google drive folder', to go to the files. These are on your computer: you can also access them when not connected to the internet. Make sure to regularly connect your computer to the internet, to ensure all the latest files are downloaded and current.
