A new topic by Arne Kaas: “Creating a redundant and low-stand-by system”
Hi Mathijs and Johannes,
I've got some questions on how to make a 3 phase system redundant and more efficient by reducing stand-by power.
Redundancy: Can I install a 3 phase system with 6 quatro's/multies that will remain on, even if one of the six inverters will fail? Is it possible to connected 2 x a 3phase system with master and slave, where the slave will automatically become a master if the real master (3 fase system) fails?
Less standby power: Looking at the standby power of a 3 fase system with 6 quatro's/multi's. It is possible to 'sleep' the second 3phase system at lower powers? With aux-relais and a power assistant I've already done this on Pampus, but this was complicated to setup and uses a lot op stand-by power. And if one of the six quatro's fail, I will still have a black-out.
Looking at the standby power of a 3 fase system with 3 quatro's/multi's. It is possible to 'sleep' 1 or 2 of three fase setup at lower powers or time windows? Like in the 'Nullust in Search modus (W)'?
