1a) The solar charger will limit input power if more PV power is connected. 1b) The PV voltage must exceed Vbat + 5V for the controller to start. Thereafter the minimum PV voltage is Vbat + 1V. 2) A higher short circuit current may damage the solar charger in case of reverse polarity connection of the PV array. 3) Maximum current per MC4 connector is 30A. 4) Equalization is by default disabled. 5) For more information on data communication see the data communication paper in the Technical information section on our website. For VE.Can specifications see the VE.Can ports chapter. 6) MC4 models: several splitter pairs may be needed to parallel the strings of solar panels. The MC4 connectors are internally parallel connected to a single MPPT tracker. 7) Note that below list of part numbers are 12/24V only. Not for 36/48V. And even if VictronConnect allows selecting 36 or 48V, they are still not to be sold or used as such. As per labels on the unit which indicate 12/24V only.
